Really good video in many ways and eye opening as to how the anti's are operating. However, they vastly misrepresented the power of treaties at the end of the video.

Treaties aren't permanent, countries pull out of treaties all the time.

Treaties are binding, but impossible to enforce. Countries fail to comply with treaties all the time and the U.N. can do little more than whine about it.

A treaty does NOT trump the Constitution. A situation as they describe would wind up in the supreme court for yet another evaluation of the meaning the 2nd Ammendment which may or may not go in our favor, but it's not an automatic trump of the "supreme law of the land." Anti-abortion groups and anti-landmine groups have been trying this same tact for years with no success.

What it would do is bring the 2nd to the forefront of debate and conflict as well as add leverage to the anti's arguments since they could point to the pressure from other countries as justification to change our constitution. (A concept that completely turns my stomach.)
