My second and third attempt at making holsters

I can see you need more practice. I suppose that I could, in the interest of helping out a fellow TGOer, let you make me a holster, just so you can have more practice and learn how to do it right...you know I'm kidding, lol. Great job. I have a FNH-45 ACP for which I am having trouble finding a holster that I like. If you are interested, let me know.

Wow, seriously?!? Those look great! Good work - I would like to see what else you can make, too! That 1911 holster looks awesome!

I usually have to go over it two or three times. On the second and third tries, I focus on the lighter areas. I also usually have some marbled looking areas. The leather sheen I put on top of it seems to hide some of the irregularities. I have a problem with black. It goes on even, but even after it's dry, it will turn your hands black when you handle it. The last black one I did, it was like I sprinkled graphite dust all over my workbench.
