"...Can't trust the weatherman, makes his living on a lucky chance..."

Bonus points if you can name that song, and the group.:tough:

The only slick spots I found today were in industrial areas, on small roads that didn't get salted. Major routes (386, 109, Briley, the interstates, etc...) were all clear.

The backroads to my house were clear this morning, but iced over by the time I headed home. Got home alright though.

I'm on pretty much all main roads from work to home and so is my wife. We had absolutely no issues in the Nashville area, and despite media reports to the otherwise, anticipate no issues tomorrow.

At least some of you guys have salt trucks. I've never seen one around Memphis. You may get a bit of gravel on a bridge or two, but they mostly just let the roads ice over and watch the accidents.

Man...this was NUTHIN...I was a little disappointed this morning figured it would be an ICE RINK in the sub-division...not so. the weather guessers did get one thing right though..it is/was FRIGGIN COLD

It was already FRIGGIN COLD. Good guessing on their part.

I never could understand why radio stations would have traffic and weather on every few minutes in the mornings while I was driving to work. I was IN the traffic and the weather was just the other side of the windshield. I didn't need the radio to tell me about them.

LMAO!! We got a couple of inches in Bristol overnight. Nothing compared to a couple of weeks ago. This time it was powdery, light snow. I was able to get the Jeep sideways in 4HI without even trying very hard. The last time I couldn't even make it spin in 2WD. The stuff can fool you if you aren't paying attention.
