Now that you're in tight with them, how 'bout proposing a Keltec Sub2000 knock off, but built to Glock standards? :P

I'm sure the'll make some attachment or model of rifle that will allow you to use the G33 mags in it.........:D

I could however, see them making something in a pistol caliber that takes existing Glock mags...something along the lines of the CX4. But who knows.

I wish Oly Arms would get the price down on their AR that takes Glock mags. K9-GL model I think.

A Glock AR I imagine it being mighty ugly

Well, the thing about it being an "AR" is that it is an AR.Rock River,Les Baer,S&W,Ruger,SIG,LWRC,Stag. They all have AR's and they all look the same because they are AR's.If Glocks was different or "ugly" it would not be an AR because that stands for Armalite Rifle and if it is not true to that design then they would be foolish to give it that designation.

Well I returned last night after a long day of Glock armorer training and driving back to middle TN from Smyrna Georgia and thought I'd share a few details from the class, I had an Excellent trainer (Joel Hodges), very knowledgeable and thorough, I passed the class and now I'm a certified Glock armorer. Some interesting info I heard in the class I thought I'd share with the rest of TGO.

We all knew the the Gen 4's were coming out and I got to handle a brand new G22, I like the 3 different adjustable back straps and the medium fit my hand perfect, the new RTF isn't as aggressive as the ones that came out last year, and the 22 has a dual rate recoil spring that is said to reduse recoil to the feel of a 9MM, and it no longer needs to be changed out at the 3000 - 5000 round count, now it's 10,000 rounds. I really liked the new G22 and it's the next gun on my wish list.

A couple rumors I heard while I was there.

During the SHOT show, Glock will introduce their AR-15 style rifle in .223-556 caliber

Glock has all the equipment in place to manufacture all gun parts in Smyrna Georgia, no parts from Austria

A .380 pocket size polymer gun is in the near future, LCP-P3AT size.

Damn, you went from drinking the Kool-Aide to swimming in it!

How about a single action Glock with a thumb safety? Like a 1911.

Oh, that would be an M&P..........

I'll bet you never see Glock make a 1911. That would be like admitting Gaston can't hold JMB's jockstrap.

Well no carbine this year, at least I have yet to read of one being released at shot and I think there would have been a few threads on it had they released it. So another 10 months and the rumor can be reborn.

I sent a email to my (contact) @ Glock asking what happened to the Glock AR? The responce was "wait till next year"!!!! So it looks like everyone who said this is a on going rumour was right. But wouldnt it be cool if they actually did build one? I know everyone and their brother builds AR's but a Glock AR!!!! I would be first in line!!!!! COOP

Sig actually is releasing a AR variant this year to law enforcement with the civilian ones coming vailable next year, the 516. If Glock would ever make one I would imagine they would be the first to get a composite reciver right along with a tennifered barrel.
