Nice boat gets trashed

If the "Sea Shepherd" is all the whales have fighting for them they are screwed. All those hippies that are on that show could be some of the dumbest people I have ever seen. I'm all for protecting whales but come on, there has got to be someone smarter than this bunch.

I wholeheartedly agree... it baffles me that a bunch of wet liberals on a boat (of which, only one or two can actually deal with maritime affairs) can actually think that they are going to go up against a fleet that is out there for one reason - money.

Perhaps if they had some EXPERIENCED sea-going folks to run that boat, something could get done, but from what I've seen - they need some serious help. It's always hapless floundering in the water and no one accomplishing much of anything. :P

Sounds very LIBERAL to me...

I enjoy watching the show, but that's just because I dig hippy chicks...even if they are a bit dirty from not showering.

Mmm...salty :P

Now, I would actually support their efforts if they were doing it for the reasons they say they are doing it.

The proof that they're a fake as Suntzu's bobo, is in their attacks that destroy the already dead whales meat.

By throwing stuff on the whales the Japs are processing just causes another whale to be taken...

What we saw was the Great Wheel of Karma completing a turn.

I enjoyed every second of that video!

Each their own I guess. I don't fully agree with either side, but I still don't buy the Japanese research BS. I've looked into quite a bit myself CAS, but I'm sure were not gonna change each others minds so I'm not gonna open up the debate further.

What I think is even funnier is that people are saying that the Jap boat rammed the little speedboat or whatever, but you can clearly see the wake kick up on the smaller boat at the end of the video....the little boat definitely was the one that caused the collision.

I noticed the same thing. At about 14 seconds in the YouTube video the batboat cleary is accelerating forward with BOTH engines. Their argument about manouvering is . Not to mention, comercial boats always have the right of way.

I do know that the bigger, less maneuverable boat had the right of way, and that would have been the whaler in this instance.
