Around here, for the next few months it may be either sandals or mukluks weather. Never can tell.

If there is a shoot I will be there. There has been an invention recently that aids in keeping warm on cold days. It is called a coat. I have one and suprisingly they work quite well.

Cody, you can look around and find some army issue trigger mittens at any army surplus store...they should have them.

other than that, look for wool mittens or inserts..I would think civilian ones would be fine, as long as they're form fitting..and wash them in cold water and air dry them

I shoot at least once a month anyway. I'd rather freeze with you guys as freeze by myself. I have to check my daughters swim meet schedule before I'll know if I can make it or not.

All this assumes that Phantom6 can do it. He has control of the range. $10 range fee as I recall.

Yup, the shoot is on for the 15th at our place. We will shoot the ICE qual. That's the Immigration & Customs Enforcement qualification, hopefully not really ice. Got some other things in the works but can't divulge at this time.

Firing points will be semi-enclosed (3 sides) and heated on the main range just in case Al Gore is wrong.

I was afraid when I saw your post that you had a class going on for the 15th. can't wait for the third Saturday in December and our potential of shooting Santa and his reindeer. j/k no one is gonna shoot Santa,m dunno about Rudolph.

Someone bring an extra box of ammo for a pistol. I want to try the ICE qual. this time too. That Single Six I have isn't going to do the job.

Cody pick up a box of 50 .40S&W and take the ICE with my Hi-Point. WalMart has them for under $10 for 50. My bet is you will pass. Get the 50 for the test and I will bring 50 for you to practice with first.

hmmm what caliber for reindeer? J/K everyone. Rudolph needs no bullet holes.

Is there a reason you are wanting me to bring it, or are you just wanting to laugh at me again.....Seriously though, I've got a Mossberg 500 12 ga pump in layaway at GM just waiting on me to go finish paying off. I'll be bringing that one it I get to come.

Yup. Bring your shotguns. We'll be a shootin' them clays as fast as we can launch 'em. I may have another "holler" cleared out so the shotgunners can shoot clays on one range as the rifle shooters peg their targets simultaneously on another. At least that's the plan.

Oh, and Boom I wasn't laughing AT you, I was laughing with ... uh,....well, uh... everyone else.

That new Mossy will do you much better but if pieces should start falling off of it at any time, well .....

Anyone wishing to shoot the ICE qual. bring 50 rounds of ammo and at least two magazines or speedloaders for your pistol.
