It really all depends on the particular gun. Like mentioned you can get them at Wal Mart for anywhere between $185 and $235 or so plus tax with no scope. To me that would mean I wouldn't go over $250 for one that is used with a cheap scope on it. All depends on the gun though, because some are worth more than that.

I'd say offer anywhere around $200 or a little more or less, but I wouldn't go any higher on it than $250.

Not the stainless, maybe the "blued (actually painted).

around 225.00 for the stainless gun. don't count the scope in the deal. unless if it was a named brand, then you would add it to the deal. the blue model at wal mart are around 200.00. so you can buy new some times cheaper,,,, but it is not stainless.

I'm a big fan of used guns. No tax, no ten buck background check thing and, if someone else has shot them you know you probably won't have to deal with a lemon. I bought a Phoenix 22 (which I like) from Lowbud simply because he had shot it an vouched that it worked. Well that and he had the price I was looking for on it.

Anyway when I'm buying a used gun I take a look at it and if it looks new I just compare it to how much I would pay for a new one. A plain 10/22 goes for ~200. TICS and tax add thirty bucks or so?

So to get it new you're looking at 250 or so. I try to pay the price I think I could resell it for and I'd give you 200 for that rifle so if you can et for two hundred or less I'd go for it.

Point of note: I've shot a couple of OhShoots 10/22s and they are a lot of fun. I keep meaning to buy one but I'm also focussed on making the next purchase something something OhShoot doesn't already own.

Heck, you should have seen the respect on his face when I broke out the Phoenix!

Just before Christmas I bought the standard model 10/22 at Academy in Madison for $189. With tax and background check the total was $218. Dicks Sporting Goods also has it for $189.
