While looking around Saturday at wheel guns and A-5's. I was looking a Heritage Arms pistols like I posted the other day. I ran across a used New Model Single Six Ruger Convertable. They were asking $295.00 for it. It looking like it had not been shot much at all. The store comes recomended from several police officers that buy guns there. From what I have seen from the on-line auction sites that seems like a decent price but I don't want to go strickly by that that.

Thanks Eggman:koolaid:

Thats not a bad price. What barrel length and if its used does it have both cylinders? To me, about 250 for a 6 inch model is a good price.

Sounds reasonable if it's in really good shape. I bought a used stainless Single-Six convertible for about $350.

Don't know the value of that "New" model. I have the one made in 1962 that has the extra click at the 1/4 cock with both cyl. and in 6" blued with wood. Western rapid firing is fun, but sometimes painful.

sounds like a pretty decent deal on the gun. I have one with both cylinders, if I was selling I would be asking for 350 minimum.

and to be perfectly clear the gun is NOT for sale.

I also have one with both cylinders. I love it.

It belonged to my Dad. 295 is a fair price.

Mine is not for sale either. Sorry

That is a decent price if if is good shape, adjustable sights with no blems. Any much more and you are in the realm of stainless single sixes.

If it so happens to be a specialty model you are doing great....bisley, Colorado model, 9.5", Liberty, or old model...

Get it if you can...they are GREAT guns!

I bought one back in the summer for 255 with both cylinders. I've got another one with just the magnum cyl, and one of those Heritages with both cyl. they are alot of fun and cheap to shoot. 295 is maybe a little high but if it is in good shape I would probably get it. Lots of fun and cheap to play with and accurate can't hardly go wrong.

I have one with over 5K rounds through it, and I only like it more each time I fire it.

The price seens excellent, If it shoots well, and I can't imagine that it won't.
