Guest c.a.s.

There are lots of loads for shotguns to try. I ALWAYS recommend Federal's various #00 offerings that have the FliteControl wad. It really makes a difference. There are a billion different reduced-recoil offerings of all kinds, and Ammunition to Go has a couple good deals on several of them.

Got a new 870 Tactical for Christmas and finally got some time to try some different loads. This is one nice shotgun. I plan on later using it for some three gun action. If anyone has any favorite loads just speak up.

I like whatever is on sale if it is Federal, Winchester, or Remington Buckshot (Hornady-- the purported "best" is never on sale; marketing hype, i think!!). From OOO down to #4 if it is a 12 gage. I watch for the "specials" at Midway or other online outlets.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

LEROY

PS -- Been shooting buck shot a long time. If they have a buffer or shot cup (most all do; whether they say or not); they are all good. The next time you go to the range; take a big target and test them at about 20 yards. Buckshot of all sizes has been doing it's deadly job for as long as there have been scatterguns. They all work good.
