2006 yards

Chris Johnson is now the 6th member of the 2000 yard club with 2006 yrds. just thought that i would let those who might be interested. The only other players to rush for 2,000 yards in a season are Eric Dickerson (2,105), Jamal Lewis (2,006), Barry Sanders (2,053), Terrell Davis (2,008) and Simpson (2,003).

And of those 6, he is the only 1 to be on a team that didn't make the playoffs.

Not true. Buffalo did not make the playoffs in 1973.

One interesting thing, is only 2 out of that six got an MVP, Simpson and Davis.
