My wife once faked an Australian accent through an entire dinner with friends, just to fascinate the waitress! Free dessert out of the deal too! She told the waitress of faraway places in Australia that she can't locate on a map, let alone prove she'd ever actually been to! You'd have to know her...she's quite a card.

I once worked an entire shift as a waiter on St. Patrick's Day with a fake Irish accent. I know a little Irish history (part Irish and all) and I'm pretty good with accents and a bit of a gab...so I pulled it off. Made great tips too!
