What's in your firearms Christmas list for Santa?

First of all, I just can't believe that we're already mid-way into November as I write this. 2007 has blasted right by me it seems. :)

I keep telling myself that I better get a jump on hanging icicle lights on the eaves of the house while there's still a little warm weather to be had. I don't have to light them until after Thanksgiving of course. ;)

All of this brings to mind the idea of how much fun it was when I was a kid to sit down with the JC Penny and Sears wishbook catalogs and make out a long list of things that I hoped Santa (or my parents, or the grandparents) would bring me for Christmas. It's a shame that my own kids didn't believe in the jolly fat elf for very long. I guess they grow up faster these days.

But I digress...

What do you want Santa to bring YOU this year? A new gun? Reloading equipment? Some super tacticool optics for your evil black rifle? Ammo? Maybe some claymores to decorate your lawn like Marswolf does?

Let's hear it. :P

As much .223 as will fit in the sleigh :)

I've had this AR sitting here, completely unfired, for months because I'm so broke.

Sell your AR, than you can afford the ammo. Duh! :P

Hmm... well... I've honestly taken care of a lot of my Xmas shopping with the new Kimber purchase, range bag, eyewear, and forthcoming hearing protection... doesn't leave much. Probably some additional smithing & maintenance tools, more WC ETM mags, and other "support gear" for the guns. Maybe some ammo, since you can't ever have too much on hand.

I wouldn't be upset if a Nighthawk T3 mysteriously appeared in my Christmas stocking, though. :)

What I really want is Ivory (faux Ivory would be fine too) grips for my Ruger single six,

and some 230 grain ball ammo.

Unfortunately, with the budget what it is, there will be nothing from the Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops for me other than enough ammo for the 9's to get me through for a while. No new ones this year. Maybe for my birthday next year I can get an AR. Should be able to buy it right before Hilary attempts to take control.

Reloading supplies or a Kershaw Speed Safe knife. Seeing as I can't request a firearm.

Thinking about getting Trijicon sights for my M&P 40c, seems like it would be a nice addition.

:( @ Quakers.

I was hoping to be able to afford a Dillon reloading setup but I don't know that it will be possible just yet. May have to wait til a little later in the Winter / Spring for that.

I'd love to have an EOTech for the AR15. If I can sell my SPOT III red-dot and put that money toward the EOTech, it might be a little more feasible. Anyone want a good red-dot sight at a really good price? :)

And what I would REALLY like for Christmas is a 7.62 automatic rifle of some sort. I'm thinking either an HK91 clone or a FN-FAL (or clone). The AK just doesn't give me the warm fuzzies that I thought it would, but I might need to give it another chance and see if I can warm up to it.

Of the bunch, I'd say that the EOTech is the more likely to happen and I'm not sure I'll even do that. I've got a couple of things that really need to be taken care of before I can start buying gun stuff again.

Is that a frozen diamond in your range bag or are you just happy to see us? :)

I wonder if they'd get mad at Stones River range if you printed that out and shot at it. Afraid the random Quaker might be on the range and not come back to pay his $5.50 ever again.

I am going to get either a K-T .380 or 9 before the end of the year and I really want another boat gun, I am kinda looking around for a cheap 12ga 3" pump. Just something to keep in the boat and if it gets lost oh well I am out just a couple hundred dollar kinda thing.
