Federal announces a new revolver cartridge: .327 Magnum

Seems promising, especially since any revolver chambered for this cartridge will still be able to fire cheaper .32H&R and .32S&W ammo.

I won't be rushing out to buy one... but the projectile size and ballistics appear similar to 7.62x25mm Tokarev (which is a very powerful cartridge).

It's definitely an interesting concept... I'll give them that. I'll have to make a note to keep an eye on this for a year or two to see how it actually works out.

Definitely interesting... especially when available in a Smith instead of the boat-anchor SP101... I'm thinking maybe the 358PD... scandium frame, titanium cylinder, >12oz. weight, 6-shot... hmmm...
