Carry Question

I have my TN hand gun permit and have the following question.

Does the handgun always have to be on my person? Am I legal if the handgun is in my briefcase for example? The briefcase would always be under my close control.

yes it can be in a brief case, your car, your hat, your sock, a backpack, a computer bag, a secret compartment in your shoe... :) there are some pretty cool packs out there that offer compartments, for instance http://www.tadgear.com/x-treme%20gear/packs%20main/jumbo_versipack.htm this is one of my favorites and if any of you want to get it for me for christmas i'll send you my address! you can get any of their packs and then get the holster seperatly or don't get the hoslter at all and sew in one of your old ones that you dont use anymore.
