On sale for 44.86. Looks interesting. UV treatment then a little filtration and you have potable water. Anyone know anything about it?

I've got one. They work really well. At least my insides haven't rotted away after two years of use. I do filter first and use the steripen if the water is sluggish. Frozenhead has a spring that has algae and frogs in it. I think its a great addition. I carry it as either a backup or additional protection since I mainly use a filter. I prefer to drink my water not chew it.

They're great, but like most filters can break in the field. I'd make sure to have a back-up if going on an extended jaunt. - Wish I had caught the sale. That's a terrific deal!!

Bought one a couple months ago, havent used it yet. Pretty sure I didnt get mine that cheap.
