using Wolf Primers

I have been using winchester small pistol primers for 9mm

with winchester 231 powder, I just purchased small wolf primers

well these work in place with this powder or other?

I'm on my 3rd 5 sleeve pack of wolf sp primers.

No problems with them.

No problems with the large pistol primers that I've shot through my .45

The Wolf primers should work just fine. If you are loading near max., it's always a good idea to back off of your powder charge a little whenever you change a component. There is nothing wrong with Wolf primers. I have used Wolf small rifle, large rifle, and large pistol primers without any issues so far.

I have used Wolf and Magtech in 40 S&W with no problems.
