Help me, please... dog needs a good home...

Hey everyone. I am hoping I can find some help from one of the TGO family.

Not everyone knows (but I guess you do now :) ), but I am in the final stages of accepting a commission into the USAF. I expect to go to COT (training) in May, then I am off to my duty station immediately following.

We have an older border collie mix that will need to find a new home. She is 14 years old, and is primarily an outside dog. She was an inside family pet for a very long time, until she bit my then 2 year old daughter (over food). That was about 3 years ago, and she has been an outside dog since.

Her disposition is very good overall, but she would be better off in a house with no small children or no other, especially smaller, dogs.

We will help offset the cost of feeding and caring for her if necessary, what's really important is that we find her a happy place to live the last few years of her life.

I will happily deliver her to her new home, and we will ensure she is up to date on all of her shots as well.

If you are willing or able to provide a good home, please PM me, it would be a huge weight off our mind to know we are leaving her in good hands.

Aww, that breaks my heart. I'm a sucker for critters, but I already have a (very) full house. Consider this a bump though.

I understand completely. It's a tough one, but necessary.

Congratulations on your commission. Thank you for your upcoming service.

I wish I could help but I have small children and 2 other dogs one of which is very old and would not take well to ANOTHER disruption.
