Anyone on here own any guns from USFireArms? If so, I would like to see some pictures (especially of the single actions) and get your opinion. They look like first rate heirloom quality. I really like the 12/22 and the Double Eagle. Price is another issue.

Dont own any USFA stuff; but have handled a bunch of them. They look like a second generation Colt SAA. Take a look here at Doug Turnbull's site; he uses USFA "Kits" for his SA's:

Catalog 2009 - Turnbull Manufacturing Co. Open Range Revolvers

The "prewars" are the ones to look for if you like the old time handwork and look. They are a bit pricy; but they are beautiful. We have a couple of third generation colt SSA's and New Frontiers redone (Turnbull cased frame and hammer, bevelled cylinder front, enlarged cylinder flutes, etc); and they are about the equal of the USFA prewars. (the original 3rd generation colts are nowhere near the beauty and finish of the USFA stuff). The pictures you see on the USFA site are exactly what they look like.

Check this out: The US Pre-War

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Hi. I have a USFA SAA as finished by Doug Turnbull. The fit and finish are top notch. Cost is certainly an consideration, but I feel that this gun has held its value quite well.

If you are ever in the Nashville area, I'd be happy to let you take a look.
