I came across one of these for sale locally, and not knowing anything about them, I thought I would ask ya'll what you thought of them. Myself I have never owned or shot any Winchester shotguns. He is asking 150 for it which I thought wasn't bad if they are any good.

I bought one ten years ago and never had a FTF. It's the one with 7 up the tube, loaded with 00 Buck defensive. Quite smooth.

Edit: If it is clean, it is a good deal.

Mine looks like a modest, all-black modern warrior, but nothing like ^^^^^.

;) this was my Y2K gun.

it is 1300 Ranger

and it does get attention on the range, 10+1 rounds = endless fun

Question - what is the reason behind the optics on the shotgun? If a bead sight can pick clays out of midair, wouldn't the long barrel with eyes on the bead be enough? I'm curious, not trying to be a ****-stirrer.

Main reason for this particular look is nothing else than eye candy.

But i prefer it only with a scope mount and no red dot.

some how it fits perfectly when you hold a gun to peak true a hole.

even with both eyes opens , it is much easier to focus on target.

red dot is only good for shooting slugs, or for a new shooter training.

it gives them shiny red dot to focus on

i even have scope for it. and it doesn't improve accuracy with slugs on 50y

so my personal preference is with a scope mount only

i just made a picture

and veil i was at it , i made one with a red dot to

I have a winchester 1300 in 12 and 20 gauge. Both are top notch and I even busted a 25/25 on the skeet range with the 12.

If you got it for $150, you got a pretty good deal as long as it isn't beat up.

Post some pics if you got it.
