Ok...got the wife a new pocket gun for Christmas...a Kel-Tec P3-AT in 380ACP. It'll do it intended job rather nicely out to about 5 maybe 10 yards. My wife likes it...I like it...it HIDES real good too. On the humorous side...do you remember those TINY water pistols we used to play with as kids? That was how this hand gun felt in my hand...this gun will compliment the BersaCC and the Ruger SP 101 that she currently carries.

In 380ACP...this pocket pistol POPS real good...hold on to it or it'll jump.

They are fine little tools for the money. So easy to conceal. A friend has carried one for quite a while and I almost bought one on his recommendation. I opted for the PF9 instead, a bit cheaper to shoot and it proved to be easier to obtain ammo for.

No, they're not a fun gun to shoot.

Congrats Dave... I was shocked to see how accurate my litte P3AT was/is.

I wear it daily now and with the hip clip it is easy to cover.

Hey Mike...thanks...had been wondering about the "hip clip"...I'm thinking of one for myself as well now....but I might just take over the BERSA CC instead...

I've carried one as a bug for 6 or 8 months now, great little gun. Not going to be shooting bad guys at 100 yards with it, but great little 5-10 yard self defense weapon for sure.

The P3AT is a great close quarters gun. Pretty accurate too. Not exactly a pleasure to shoot but it gets the job done.

Thanks for the report Dave. I considered getting one a few months ago but wasn't sure how I would like it. Just didn't feel right in my hand for some reason. Water pistol sounds about right though. I ended up getting the Sig p238. Just felt more like me. Happy for your wife. I love guns for Christmas.

My wife carries one - it's small enough she's willing to actually carry it.

Breaking it in (few hundred rounds) isn't fun if done all at once. Not a fun gun to fire, but should be effective if ever needed.

I'd be curious to know what you think of the SIG P238...we saw one of those at the Guns and Gear Expo...but a $500-700 price seemed a bit steep for a pocket blaster

good choice I think. I looked at them and the lcp and bought the lcp because I found a slightly used one first for a great price. I'm glad I let someone else breat it in. Good practical pocket guns but not at all fun to take to the range
