Christmas catastrophe NOT averted.

Friday morning two scumbags entered the store my wife manages. One watched the front while the other jimmied the office door and casually cleaned out my wife's ID, cash, checks, credit cards- even her new cell phone.

We obtained video of them using her cards at a truck stop 30 miles away, and they tried multiple times at a Wally World even closer in- got GREAT pics with time-stamps and all that hitech jazz.

It's bad enough alone- but with no ID, she couldn't visit her oldest who's in the pen in MO. Her youngest just shipped out to Iraq. She had a very unhappy Christmas.

I hope the law catches the bastards before I do- for their sakes and mine.

Hell hath no fury like what I will wreak upon them.

Same morning- two other stores in the same chain hit, same MO. This has now crossed state lines and losses are in the thousands of dollars.

I guess I can tell you it's Dollar General offices they are hitting- so if you have friends or family working there, tell them to watch out for two black males, one around 40, the other around 30, who walk in together and separate. One will walk to the office door and open it while the other watches out.

They clean out the managers' purses, and anything else of value in the office.

One has been ID'd as a former employee of a local business- positive ID is imminent.

From the bulge I saw in the older man's jacket on videotape, he's carrying.

I hope they are safely apprehended, and soon.

Thought I understand your anger and frustration, it's probably not the best idea to post such threats on an Internet forum for all to see.

Agreed.

Hope they catch the scumbags.

+1

Glad no one was hurt. While it truly sucks, and is a huge inconvenience, items can be replaced... lives can't.

It seems every year these Dollar General stores fall victim to the thugs.

Here in Jackson we have two (meeeting genral Description) who have in the past several weeks been loading carts and then taking the stuff out the back. there IS video of these thugs.

It may be worth checking with JPD for possible similarities, what they were doing here to what they are doing now seems to be to be a natural progression.

And Friend.....Do be thankful no one was hurt.

Blessings

Thanks guys, and although no one has been physically injured YET, I wonder when they will decide to follow the managers when they are making bank runs.

I also appreciate your concern about threats- notice mine are very non-specific- although my thoughts are NOT...

and my concerns about big brother are far deeper than what they think about what I might do to thieves. 'Nuff said.

I might add that I have done far more to gather evidence against them than the PD has managed to do so far- and if I REALLY wanted to find them, I could. The efforts might just cause them to run, though, and I don't want that.

Also, if I did confront them, it is highly likely that I would be placing my own liberty at risk. I don't want that, either.

The frustration at the level of interest placed in this case by the local LEOs is high in my house. But we WILL wait for the wheels to grind, exasperatingly slow they might be.

A quick update- this past weekend a Caucasian female was apprehended in Tunica, MS, after passing $1200.00 in checks stolen from one of the ladies.

She is now in custody and under investigation. We don't know yet whether she received the checks from the thieves, (in which case perhaps she'll roll on them as a plea bargain) or "found them on the side of the road" so we don't know if we're any closer to jailing said thieves.

Cooperation is a bit slack from those who have information and tools to work with, but evidently just can't be bothered to do things like see just how many 97 ***** *****'s there are in our area- a fairly rare car these days...

Anybody know of a legit way to get REAL MVD data like the County Clerk has access to? Seems even Public records are being guarded to protect the guilty...

Lots of these membership sites claim to allow total access to PR's, but I've been warned they are less than they seem...

Any bail bondsmen or skip tracers here?

A bit of good news, I hope. Some clever detective work and $4.95 later, I have Mr. Scumbag's NAME and cellphone number.

The break was when one of his ho's got popped in Tunica. The ho's family rolled on him with no effort at all.

Why is it that LEO can't or won't accomplish what I just did? At least 4, maybe 5, separate departments in three states are "working" on this ring of thieves, and I find all the evidence, so they can go and pick it up.

Sheesh. I guess I'll have to go "arrest" him, too.
