I am trying to buy a revolver from a private party in MS. Can any of you recommend someone with a FFL in the Nashville area to receive this for me? My local deal is asking $40 plus the $10 background check to receive the gun. Seems really high to me, but maybe that is the going rate?

Thank you in advance for any advice you may give.

Go to Gun Broker, open any firearm auction, scroll to bottom and you'll see a way to find FFLs either by Zip or state - enter your zip for a list which includes each FFL's fee.

Most shops will do it, and it seems like the average cost is $25.00 plus the $10.00 background check fee. Usually runs $35-40.00 out the door.

I believe Hero Gear is relatively close to Columbia, and I know Guns For America is on the south side of Nashville. There are probably other places around you that will do it, as well.

I will start calling these folks today. Thanks to all for the help.
