I support it. The kid was 6, so that means they've been watching TV and movies for 5 years most likely. They know what a cop is and they know right and wrong. Good on her.

Do not call the Police on your family or friends. I don’t care if they are 6 or 60. Contrary to popular belief Police Officers are not Counselors, Social Workers, Teachers or Priests.

Don’t call them with your personal or family problems unless they are so far out of control you no longer have the ability to handle the situation and you need a 25 year old kid to show up and settle them for you.

That is all…

Guess I'm one of few that still believes in parental discipline

I'm not ragging the Mom for doing something about her child stealing here.

I'm just shocked that she called the police over a 6 YO child sticking a couple stickers in her pocket.

I'm even more surprised that so many here thinks it's good parenting :D

I'm not sure if a small child can grasp what a cop is from watching Rugrats, and Barney.

If anything, this kid was scared because she was forced to ride around with a stranger.

:screwy:

I know, right!

Seems everyone else missed that.

Looks to me like the only reason she did what she did was to make 30 bucks
