I sent a Loveless Cafe "Hams and Jams" gift basket to my mom and step-dad for Christmas this year...they were not expecting anything like this from me this year ($$$ been tight all the way around)...but this was to good to pass up...the basket had 3 jars of Jam...biscuit mix and 3lbs of Loveless smoked bacon...mom and dad called me...said..WTH is this on the front porch? BACON!!!!! you ROCK!!! score ONE for the eldest son.

one of our sales reps gave me a package of Benton bacon. He gets it somewhere in the Smokies I think. Said it is the best bacon ever made. Pieces are freaking long.

Gonna weave it and bake it Friday morning. I hope it tastes as good as it looks.

Mike. youe sales rep ain't lying, Bentons has the best smoked bacon and country ham I have ever had. Not to mention he will cut unbelievable ribeyes to order while you wait at prices better than the local stores. I'm thinkin E Tn TGO roadtrip. Hit Farnsworth in Vonore, then Bentons in Madisonville, maybe a little vino from Strykers in Athens, AAA Firearms and a last stop at Sweetwater Valley Farms. That way the better halves will understand that this wasn't just a bacon and gun hunt but we were bringing them a little wine and cheese just because:D
