Mental note: Do not over-excite musicman!

Side note to mental note: If you do over-excite, don't stand close to him or down wind from him.

What the heck?! All I wanted to do was post the smiley, and I get this error message:

Crazy!

There's a daily post-quota too... you don't want to know what happens if you don't get in your 5 posts (just bash Glocks or something, that's pretty safe)

That was a good deal!

Actually, I'm still picking up some pretty good .45acp at the range. When I get a couple coffee cans sorted out, I'll let you know. I only want the winchester and possibly the CCI out of it.

.45 long colt is my problem area now.

Hey Neero, I've got some 7mm Rem Mag ammo. (4 boxes, I think) I was planning on keeping it, but I need $$ BAD. When I get home I can give youth the specifics on it and maybe we can work something out, if you want. I think it's 3 boxes of Winchester stuff, and one box of Remington.

Yup, I've got a 7mm rem mag habit. I totally reload for 7mm though, its just too expensive to shoot otherwise.

Hey Mug,

I understand! Well, I'll throw this out anyway, I bought this ammo about a year ago when I thought I was gunna be able to get a 7mm Mag rifle, then I started a business! Byebye money for new guns!!

What I've got is one box of Remington Express 175gr Core-Lokt PSP, and 3 boxes of Winchester 150gr Power-Point ammo, 4 boxes in all. I got them on sale for $20-$23/box (the stuff is over $30/box now!) I'll sell them for $60 FTF if you can meet in SmurfreesBoro, or $65 shipped if you're interested. (Sorry, don't know where in TN you are!) Not bad for nice ammo, then 80 rounds of top notch brass!

It's totally cool if you're not interested, I'm just puttin' it out there.

BTW, about how much does it cost you per round to reload for 7mm mag? Do you make a "plinking" round with cheapo bullets, then a premium round with a Barnes or something? I've only ever loaded for handguns before.

Well, I do make a plinking round out of sierra 100gr fbhp's. They aren't that cheap, but it knocks the recoil down to pretty nice if you only load up to 3200 or 3300fps. I can get 2.5"ish out of 5 shots at 300 yards off the bench with these so it makes a darn good practice round. Probably more accurate than I can shoot the rifle. I've always had good luck with fbhp's for accuracy.

I also load a reduced recoil deer round (mugster's secret recipe #2) out of a 150gr sierra sp. Not very accurate out of my riflle, but a proven deer killer. I can get close to MOA with it though, on a good day. Then I load the premo 168gr hpbt match, also a sierra bullet, for long range target practice on the rare occasion I get to shoot at 600 yards.

I fooled around with some nosler bullets, but never got the accuracy out of them in 7mm that i was looking for.

Sorry, just not interested in your ammo. I know a guy who might be though. He picked up some of these walmart remington 310 rifles when they went on sale. I think he bought 2 or 3 7mm's. He doesn't reload and I know he's hunting with one this year. I'll pass along the info.

Cost in 7mm, I gave up on it. Kinda like .30-.30, I've been shooting and reloading it for so long there's just no way to figure it. If i had to go buy new powder/primers I could cost it up, but some of my powder was given to me and other of it, I bought large kegs on sale and just held on to it. Most of my bullet stockpile i either got on sale or got a real good deal on.

I shoot it pretty cheap though...
