I always carry an extra mag in my front pocket. But on occasion, I've pulled it out and found "pocket lint" in the cavity of the first hollow point. This is probably not the preferred method of carry but I don't want to start looking like I'm wearing a Batman utility belt, either.

I don't remember the exact number, but when I was in the academy, one of our instructors gave us the statistic that the average police gunfight (granted we are not police) is 13 (maybe 14) rounds fired and one hit. That is the number of shots fired from both sides. I always try to keep at least two single stack or one large dual stack, so, by the odds, I'm getting the hit....lol.

It also goes to show, even with training (granted there isn't enough in most departments) there are going to be quite a few rounds spent that you're going to be liable for that may not hit their intended target.

Does anyone make a tuckable IWB mag carrier? Right now I use my back pocket. I already have the gun on my strong side and 2 cell phones on the weak side. If I could have something else it would have to be hidden.

Makes it hard to carry a flashlight too. I've been thinking about a Galco ankle safe. I like my ankle glove and this would be pretty accessible when crouched. Anyone have one? Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

D.M. Bullard, Galco, Tucker Gunleather

Crossbreed looks like they've discontinued them..I tried one, was huge for the purpose.

thanks guys, I found a Galco one I like pretty well. For some reason they don't sell one for a 239 mag. I wonder if a 1911 or other single stack mag carrier would work?

If you're going to carry a spare mag in a pocket, you might want to consider which pocket you can reach with either hand. For me it's a hip pocket.

Probably. For my .40 SIG 239, I use a Fobus paddle mag carrier that was made for a 1911.
