Where To Buy?

Hi all, looks like a great forum and tremendous resource for the gamut of gun related issues.

Glad I found it!

My question:

I'm recent to Franklin and seeking recommendations for a dealer that would have a decent selection of 1911's.

I walked out of two places today with my cash still safely in pocket due to being ignored.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I would go to Guns and Leather in Greenbrier. The shops that are closest to you are extremely overpriced and you've already experienced the customer service. I promise you, you'll save more than your time cost and gas money by driving a little farther north. All that being said, I hear that the drive to Winchester to see Joe at Hero Gear is equally worth one's while, but have no experience other than being impressed by the booth at the Guns and Gear expo.

Looks like I'll be doing some driving tomorrow. All for a worthy cause

Thank you everyone for the suggestions.

Regardless of which one you go to, it will be worth the drive. I've bought from both of them, and have been treated very well.

We'll be expecting pictures of the new gun once you get it. :)
