Knowing that both my sons and a daughter-in-law have pistols, might as well get them started into reloading. The boys have 9mm's and she has a .380. I ordered dies and molds for their cal., while at home last week, I collected their brass and did a little reloading for them.

They will each get a few boxes of reload ammo as a present. Each box has the same primers, same bullit, but different charges. Let them decide which charge they like best.

Youngest son will be getting the Lee breech kit for christmas. The dies will be going to him, for their reloads. I'll keep the molds and sizer since I'm set up for it.

My father built each of my children a custom 98 Mauser chambered for the 257 Roberts. I am in the process of teaching them to reload. This caliber, although a great round, nearly requires it. My oldest, now 11, has killed two of his three deer with his 257, using ammo he reoladed himself (under close supervision, of course). I believe that adds something to his accomplishment.

Very nice gift canebreaker. I hipe they not only appreciate it but that you get the opportunity to spend some quality time with them reloading with them. Merry Christmas.
