Sportsmans Warehouse in Chatt. has one in stock. Auto Ordinance .45 semi-auto 100 round drum. Don't remember the price, but I think about $1500.

Two possiblilities about this pic a) it's a WWII era pic (there's a military look to it) or these are not real Auto-Ordinance full auto Thompsons, but rather the semi-auto version.

all the real Thompson's I've seen are going for between $25k-45k per, too rich for my blood.

NFA stuff only went sky high after 1985. We sold Thompson's for 2K pre 1985. Mac 10s were <$200 and you could get a Ramo .50 for around 5K. Oh, if I'd had some money back then.

You are correct, not Heston's. They were part of the Bruce Stern collection. Attorney and NRA Board member. I was fortunate enough to attend that James Julia Auction which went for a record for a single collection. Very neat stuff.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of that circulates in the emails all the time and I guess is wrongly attributed to Charleton Heston.
