I have been working for some time too get our General Assembly too change the laws as too where we can carry. I have wriitten every Represenitive and Senator, the Govenor and a few Judges. The Govenor won't reply to my letters and very few members of the General Assembly have bothered. Is it time for the people too make this issue Ballot issue in the upcomming elections?

As you should know all legislation for the current session has been put on hold so the budget can be worked on. Why a simple vote can't be held on the floor is beyond me.

I did receive this email from Senator Paul Stanley

Terry,

We've had this bill for several years and have never been able to get it out of the Judiciary subcommittee in the House. As much as we would like to pass the bill, the votes just are not there to move it in the above subcommittee.

Thanks for your interest.

Paul

If everyone will start contacting thier Senator's an Represenitives we might make some progresss. Come on let's fight those that would stop us from protecting ourselves.

Jimmy Neifeh is the problem here. Nothing with the word gun in it gets past him unless it is more restrictive. Get rid of him, bills might get passed.

What he said. Get Neifeh out of office and a lot of things become possible. Jimmy has been a problem at the Assembly for too long.

If civil liability were removed from the business and placed on the carry permit holder (where it should be); I doubt there would be much opposition (except from the lawyers). I don’t believe most of the business owners that post their premises really care if you carry. They just don’t want to be the “deep pockets” in a civil suit. Can you blame them?
