due to some request from a pic i put in another forum here's my DIY rattle can camo job

supplies: camo spray paint, green scotch bright pad, tape, rubbing alcohol, tin card board (shoe box works well see pic below) cut into random strips 1/8"-3/4" wide. wally world has a ultra flat krylon that comes in a few different colors (tan, green, brown, black)

1) disassemble gun (leaving it together makes for a crappy looking job)

2) tape up anthing in your to be painted pile that doesn't need paint on it

3) clean the parts you want painted with rubbing alcohol

4) sand all parts with the scotch brite pad to a dull matte finish

5) clean everything again with rubbing alcohol

6) lay parts out

7) drop card board strips in random pattern onto the parts

8) grab your first color and paint (i like to start with the darkest color and end with the lightest)

9)let dry

10) pic up parts, rotate them, lay them back down

11) drop card board strips randomly on to the parts and paint

12) repeat steps 10-11 till all sides, top, and bottom are painted 1st color

13) repeat steps 6-13 untill all colors are used.

14) let dry

15) while it's apart lub what need lubing

16) reassemble
