What is your pet peave

I don't remember the whole movie, but "Way of the Gun" had the two guys operating in more real-world scenarios, like racking between the knees when injured.

Yeah, also instead of an all out shoot out during the kidnapping, they moved down the entire corridor taking turns covering while the other was moving.

Funny thing is, until you just pointed it out I never noticed the more realistic aspects of that movie... I guess I only notice the big mistakes!

Bass Pro Shop Guy: "I don't know anything about these CV's (CZ's), they're foreign guns. I really only mess with Glocks (made in Austria) and Springfields (made in Croatia)."

To be fair, that Glock was probably made in Georgia.

If you watch the credits on Way of the Gun, you will see that one of the technical advisors is Doug McQuarrie. I worked with Doug for 2 years after he retired from the Navy. Doug is a retired SEAL and his brother is Christopher McQuarrie. Director/Writer of Way of the Gun. Doug did all the shoot and move/ tactical scenes on that movie.

In the movies, when they rack the slide everytime they enter a room or unholster a weapon.

Or when they cock back the hammer to imply "I'm serious".

Or in Ronin when he says the bullet penetrated his vest because it was "Teflon coated". Or the states that banned Teflon coated bullets.

But I LOVE my Glock 7 :)

My biggest pet peeve when it comes to guns is spreading misinformation, old alerts, falsified info or the like. Kinda like the SB-2099 thing that I keep getting emailed about.

When someone says "four nickel" when they are talking about a .45. And when someone says "k" or "chopper" when they are talking about and AK.:)
