Colt handguns have stocks not grips. That one took me a while to get used to.

Never really cared much if folks call detachable magazines as clips.

The clip thing.

"Why do you need that?" Referring to my EBR as if need was a requirement for ownership of anything. Your chihuahua doesn't need a rain jacket, but its your right as an American to own one!

"Guns kill X number of people every year" which is why guns are never high up on the list of causes of death. More people are killed by the flu each year.

"We need to lower gun crime." How about we just lower crime? I would hate have lower gun crime if it meant something like rape or domestic abuse tripled (hypothetically speaking).

Heard this last night at Gander mountain.

"If your just gonna keep it in your nightstand and never use it, get a revolver because if you get a auto the springs will weaken over time and it might jam when you need it."
