I killed my first buck on Sunday, 06 December 2009 at 8:45 AM in Carroll County, Tennessee. Rifle is a Ruger M77 Mk2 International chambered in 30-06 with a Tasco 4-16x40 scope. Range was approximately 25 yards. I'm high on life right now!4164079460_b0506c7fee_b.jpg

Congrats! Nice way to start out. You'll suffer from high anxiety and feverous symptoms from now on when talking about deer hunting. Starting out with such a nice buck is great but they may suffer from shrinkage in some of your future hunts!

I was too tired to smile when the pic was taken. I had just gotten through dragging that sucker 3/4 mile through waist-high cudzu. I was high on life on the inside.

Congratulations! Nice buck and nice gun. I like that town of Dyersburg. Do they still serve Sunday dinner out at the airport restaurant? Been there, done that, it's worth the flight over there for the good Southern fixings! Yum! Yum!

Hey! Cool picture! Nice buck. That's a pretty rifle as well, even with the hubble telescope mounted on top if it. Welcome to the forum.
The Hubble came with the rifle as a package deal. The price was right, so I'm not complaining.
