HCP Issuance

I am a little impatient especially when the governement is involved....sooo...I called to check on my HCP. The lady says that everything is good and it is ready to be issued but that could be another 4-5 weeks. I guess I am a little simple minded.....I wanted to say "HIT PRINT". Any one had a similar response??

Haha. If you say that, I can assure that you will be waiting the full 90 days plus they will lose your application and type your address wrong and have the wrong picture on your ID. Then they will revoke it for the mistakes, and you will have to wait 90+days again. You can't hurry the gov't. They probably have a long list of people in before you that they have to issue out because people don't want to take their test outside in the cold, plus the USPS is always bogged down with Christmas cards and gifts this time of year.

Actually from the majority of post on here recently, most new HCPs are being issued in about 6 weeks or so with no problems.

Well...hopefully she went ahead and issued it while we were on the phone. I got them on the calender to follow up every Thursday. They have been really nice, just wish they were moving a bit faster.
