I was there. I didn't see you, but I did see Marty Erat get a hat trick! No, really!
I was on the megatron a few times. I was wearing my subdued tan hat though so it would have been hard to see the logo.

And that hat trick was awesome! I didn't throw my hat though.

Oh, and I had the misfortune of seeing the little girl with the finger up her nose and then straight to her mouth on the megatron..........  ;)

Yeah that was pretty bad!

I wasn't really watching the megatron much, either. Let me know if you head to another game anytime soon. If you aren't aware, Monday night games are 'Military Mondays', and you can get the best available tickets for 20 bucks.

I didn't know that thanks for the heads up!

The organization and the fans do a fair job of supporting the troops. There have been several times that a group of soldiers would go to the game, and wind up on the MegaTron. I can't remember once that they haven't been cheered or applauded.

Likewise, I remember one game there was an elderly gentleman there with his grandson. They put him up on the screen, sitting in his wheelchair. Across the bottom they game his name, and noted that he was a WW2 veteran that had served in the Pacific. He received a standing ovation.

Not too long ago, the team went to Ft. Campbell (pretty sure that's where they went) and spent some time training with the soldiers. They put a big article about it in the magazine thing you get at the game.

I used to work on the megatron crew before I came back into the Army. It was great to know that all we had to do to get the crowd pumped up was to put a military member on the screen. The crouds at the preds games are great.
