it's more because it was a gift and i don't want it sitting out and getting scratched up but thanks for your concern.

Probably because he'd bang that 28" barrel into 3 walls before he got it pointed in the right direction! Even at 28", those bad-boys seem to be 9 feet long. Been there, destroyed that, chief!

Even though I DO keep an 18" barrel on my bedroom shottie, the abode will still accommodate my 28" model. And it's an apartment! ;)

Camera doesn't work, so a description will have to suffice. From adjacent pillow down: Sig P229 .40cal: Sig P220 Elite 45acp: Sig P226 Elite .40cal; H&K USP45; H&K USP40. Tactical shottie in the closet. As you can tell I like a variety in my bedroom, and since I live alone it gives me something to fondle as well as some protection. Privacy and protection is extremely hard to beat.

Wow! Guess I'm the only guy who actually sleeps with a pistol under my pillow. 2nd Gen G19 w/ Ameriglo's or my new to me Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec if I'm feeling frisky. Plain jane Mossberg 500A stands guard day and night. Cheapest gun I own, one I've cleaned the least, guards the others when they're locked up or I'm gone. Dangit, I need to give that gun some lovin'.... see you guys tomorrow

I slept with a .357 or .38 revo under pillow for many years.

But I probably wouldn't with many semi autos.

Let's see......on the right side of the bed in a single handgun safe is the G19....mainly for the wife to use, on my side of the bed is my EDC, my G26, behind the night stand on my side, sitting on 2 j-hooks is my newest procurment, my Mossy 500 w/ 18in ported barrel (Curtosey of mikedwood). Uhhh....under the bed is my SKS with 2 20rd mags ready to go and finally, in my closet is my AB-10 and Tec-9.......should be ready to go when the Zombies decide to start breaking windows and screamming "Brains!!"..... ;)

Currently my .357, .38 along with a few others are with various family members keeping them safe. :)
