A look at the next generation Walther P99

P30-ish? Hell, that IS a P30...with a less-ergonomic grip! Of course, my Walther PPS is nothing more than a Glock 27 on SlimFast, so who am I to talk? At least the new P99 can't possibly cost more than the original design from which it was "borrowed" like my PPS did...

And don't those folks at Walther have any of their own ideas anymore?

Well i am glad i have a couple of the originalish P99's. don't like the new look.

It doesn't look much different than an original P99, really... just a slightly reprofiled slide, different rail, and a new texture on the grip.

Ho hum... But if it shoots as good as the original, I may give one a try.
