The warm weather seems to have really confused the issue. I thought the rut was about over last week. I've talked to two fellows today that shot does about a hundred miles apart (lawrnce co and dickson co) that were still "in season".

I killed a good 4 pointer and he was chasing doe's. Every deer that has been killed on my buddies farm where hot after doe's. The farm is in Perry County.

Saw 3 bucks yesterday, ranging from young to probably 3-4 years old, all were still chasing does. It's still on in middle TN.

Here in Marshall County it's been steadily slowing down over the last 2 weeks and the peak seems to be over. There is still a bit of movement, but not what is was in early November.

How have things been for everyone this weekend, I'm not seeing any deer.

The post rut reminds me of starting sept 26th, I'm a little lost where to head next.

Their patterns and trails have changed since they lowered the water the lake.

When is everyone seeing the most of the deer, in the morning or late afternoon?

This morning around the Percy Priest it sounded like a War at first light, it was almost like someone yelled go..pretty crazy all the gun fire I heard. I have a feeling the Doe population dropped a good bit by 10am..
