Glock 19 SFS

What does the SFS stand for? I see them advertised at Buds but can find no explanation,

SFS generally is used to denote "steel fixed sights" on other handguns. I'm sure the bozos at whatever auction-house that posted this just use SFS to denote that the gun has the crappy standard Glock sights rather than the Glock night sights.

The standard sights are plastic, but Glock does offer steel non-tritium sights. The SFS may very well indicate these sights.

It is my understanding that the SFS refers to "steel fixed sights" also. But I am not a Glock owner so I could be wrong. Best to aviod the confusion and just get a 1911. Just kidding.

I was told they are imported with steel sights which are promptly removed and sent back to Austria. Of course the same dealer who told me this said the RTF2 G19's weren't going to ever be released because there was no demand. SFS- steel fixed sights or SHOOTS FO SHO!

thats why he died , he could not find the safety to take it off !!
