When ever I go shooting, I press the trigger with the frame mounted safety on & my CZ doesn't go bang !!!! B U T I bet if I try that with my GLOCK, it will go bang !!! So it's SAFE to say, that my CZ 75 is safer than a GLOCK {IF THE TRIGGER IS PULLED BY SOME ONE OR THING THAT SHOULDN'T BE } ???

No. What is safe to say is that you prefer the mental comfort of a manual safety switch as opposed to the three internal passive safeties in the design of the Glock. That does not mean that your CZ is a more safe design than the Glock.

This horse has been beaten to death by countless others both here and elsewhere in the past. If an external safety is your thing, you don't need or want a Glock. It's not a Glock issue, it's an owner issue.

Which is precisely no more safe than a Glock with one in the chamber.

Actually, far less safe, since if the thumb safety gets bumped off he'll be betting the chances of having an ND or not on whether or not nothing activates the trigger, or on the half-cock notch catching the hammer if it gets bumped...

AND, for example, either or both of those things could easily happen just getting into a car to drive to the pawn shop in the bad neighborhood...

I've NEVER had the frame mounted safety disengaged !!! When I grab my CZ, it feel good to know that a sweep of my right thumb will remove the safety:)

As they say, sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good... I've owned a few CZ's and CZ clones, it happens.

...with a glock it's not luck whether or not the gun stays on safe or not, that's the point.

Safety or no safety, I don't pull the trigger on a firearm unless I'm ready for it to discharge a round... but maybe that's just me...

If CZ's frame mounted safety is the only thing keeping you safe w/ a firearm, you probably shouldn't a firearm at all.

Safety starts and ends in the gray matter.

Different tastes are what make capitalism a great thing; there's a gun manufacturer out there who probably makes whatever you like. :tinfoil:

That said, I just have a pet peeve when some people say that XYZ is an unsafe or inferior product because it isn't in line with their personal preferences. I see a lot of people get steered wrong in gun shops, by gun owning friends, and by things said on the internet because of personal preferences being misrepresented as facts.

Preference: Glocks aren't for me because they don't have an external safety, and I prefer that sort of configuration on a handgun.

Misrepresented as a "Fact": Glocks are unsafe because they don't have an external safety. You'll shoot yourself in the face just by looking at one.

By the way, spacing the letters out in words to add emphasis (L I K E T H IS) is pretty goofy and not only makes the posts hard to read, but also renders parts of what you say completely useless to our site's search engine.

If you want to add emphasis, use the editor to add bold text, italicized text, underlined text or something like that. It will work better for the humans reading your posts and the site's search engine for indexing and cataloging what is said for the benefit of others.

Thanks.

FWIW, there are only 2 ways you can carry a CZ-75 cocked and locked and have about the same level of safety against a ND as a Glock with it's passive safeties carried in a proper holster that blocks the trigger from being activated (assuming it's a 75B with a firing pin block of course and not an older 75 without one)...

Assuming both holsters cover the trigger adequately:

(1) Carrying in a kydex holster formed with the safety in the "ON" position that only allows the gun to be holstered with the safety engaged and keeps it from being bumped off-safe.

(2) Carrying in a thumb-break holster which will block the hammer from falling on the firing pin in the event the thumb safety gets accidentally disengaged.

Because a cocked & locked CZ's hammer is at full cock to ignite a primer, without positively blocking the safety from being able to be accidentally bumped off, or by positively blocking the hammer from hitting the firing pin, you're relying solely on the firing pin safety to prevent an ND if either the trigger or hammer were pulled/bumped or if you took a hard fall on the gun as the CZ design does not have a dedicated drop safety other than the firing pin safety... just 'cause you've never had your thumb safety get knocked yet, doesn't mean it can't happen.
