I am new to guns and shooting. I was wondering what shooting ranges are in Maury or surrounding counties. I have found the website for the Maury County Gun Club. I also saw Owl Hollow Gun Club listed on this site, and wondered if this club has reopened (the website said that there lease expired 12/31/2008). If there are any in the area, I would like to now their hours of operation and how to become a member.

I shoot at Maury Couty Gun Club often. They have recently reduced their hours to 1-6, Saturday and Sunday only. Good facilities and I very seldom have to wait for a pistol range. The trap and skeet ranges are excellent. Rifle out to 200 yards.

The pistol pit is 20 yds.

Put you target up at the end & one shooter at a time walk as close as you want to your target.

There is markers every 5 yds.

Is that your oscar in you avatar?

I got that pic off the web. Go to Google images and search oscar fish. You should be able to find it in the first few pages of results. I have seen a few versions of this pick. One of them is a huge high quality pic.

I don't have a fish aquarium going for the time being. the ex got the 55 gallon tank and I got the 29 gallon tank. I'm using the 29 gallon for my Texas rat snake. I bought the snake after the divorce. The ex hated snakes. I don't know why. I thought she should should have liked her own species...lol.
