One of those things is not like the other. If I were you, I'd subscribe to the Patriot Post. Its good reading and you might find out why many people don't like a lot of the proposed policies of the current administration.

Actually gas was around a buck in the late 90s.

I remember those days quite well.

I could put gas in my bike for 1.09 gal and go for hundreds of miles. Today I cant even get to the mailbox for less then 5 bucks

You cant blame todays gas prices on Bush,though.

Gas started going up on 9\12,then again after Iraq,and Katrina. Bush was only involved in one of those,and IIRC,gas went up less after the war started then with the other two occurrences.

You can also thank OPEC and them limiting production numbers too
