What about it? You'll probably be accused of impersonating an officer. Even if you're not you'll still look like a total d-bag.

Open carry vs CC is a personal choice but I am of the opinion that the less attention that is brought to one's self when carrying the better. Having said that, and again this is my opinion and everyone has one, this badge reeks of "Cop Wantabe" and one displaying it could be accused of impersonating a police officer.

There's a certain "individual" that sells these at the local gun shows, who threatened to sue TGO the last time someone posted pictures of his display. I figure anyone who is that self-conscious about their product probably doesn't even believe in their validity themselves.

Thats what I thought too about it being borderline impersonating. After I posted this I also noticed htat this has been discussed before. Feel free to let this thread die. :squint:

It's a free country. I can take a picture of whomever I want and post that picture anywhere that I want without their permission so long as I do not do so for monetary gain. :squint:

I'm getting several of them for my Judge Dredd uniform that I wear while shopping at Walmart.

While I don't think the simple actions of wearing that badge and OCing legally constitutes impersonating an officer, there's not much doubt that that is what the casual observers first thought is going to be.

I don't like them for the simple fact I feel it adds to the idea that only LEOs or those with a badge should be armed in public.

Who would you show that thing to?

I'll show my HCP to LEO. Period. No one else needs to know I'm carrying.

If someone were to buy me one, I would take it.

I have one mounted to the rail on my AR so that when I'm doing patrols of the perimeter at my house in the 'burbs nobody gets freaked out.

Those badges are a horrible idea.

They identify you as:

A wannabe cop

Someone with a look at me ego/problem

A way to get yourself in trouble when somebody does think you are a cop and either needs your help or wants to kick your azz.

Remember kids, concealed means concealed. Save your pennies from the badge and spend it on ammo or a good holster.

I like the way you think. If one badge can make you look super cool, just imagine how awesome wearing two or three must feel.
