OK, you guys got me. You know who you are. You teasers with your new Sig P238s. You've infected me and the only cure was to purchase for myself the last P238 Academy Sports had. It was a good price too. Unfortunately Academy was out of .380 ammo so the range time will have to wait until I can find something to feed it. And now for the required porn.

The Virus Threat Inoculation never is 100% effective as once you shoot it and see what a good shooter it is: The more you will want to shoot it. It never stops.Soon you will be scouring wally world, guns stores and the internet looking for ammo to get your fix.:squint:

I shot mine guys, and it's great! The only painful part was counting the $ for each round of .380 I sent down-range.

back when the FiveSeven came out(and I still owned it) ammo was pretty pricey and I did the same thing...every 20rd magazine was mentally a value meal

I am always in a crappy mood when I come home from the range, but never going and never when I am there and I have been shooting a LOT of .308 (7.62x51) lately. Bang 2$. Bang 2$.

Nice piece by the way, it's on my list.

just got back from bass pro shop, they had 10 boxes of remington 380 for $29.99 Ouch!

Thats funny, I called them this afternoon and they said they didn't have any. My brother said they have it in his local gun store in St Louis for under $20 a box of 50. His is going to ship me a couple hundred rounds.

FWIW, I saw an ad on GunBroker clamming that Colt Mustang magazines will fit and function in the SIG P238. Guess Colt should have kept making their 380s...

I was there @5:30 pm and the salesman brought it out from the back. Hadn't been put on the floor yet.

Found some online also for $20 per box of 50. Will probably order some and head to Reloaders bench for Defense rounds tomorrow.
