These pictures forced me to order a new TRS, I absolutely love the way these look after they are carried everyday, dropped and several thousand rounds shot through them I will never refinish my new one I have Always felt that theses are the best 1911's for the money that you can buy I must really like them as this will be the only gun that I have bought twice I still have the exact Versa Max2 pictured here that I used for my Old TRS, i knew I hung onto it for some reason...

I love how the finish on the grip safety has been worn down by the oil in someone's hand. You can tell that this is a trusted weapon.

I agree, the OP has well over 15k rounds through that pistol without so much as a burp

Ah, a cougar of the gun world. Well worn but still seductive... :screwy:

Well worn, meh, looks nicely broken in to me. Very nice

I agree, those pictures and several more that were posted on another sight just reinforced how much I miss my TRS, I will definitely never sell the one I have on order and will have more than enough 1911's at that point

Is that possible? I don't believe it!

Well the way i figure it, 1 Nighthawk Custom Commander Bobtail for carry, 1 Ed Brown Executive Target Pistol, and my Les Baer TRS on order for a government sized 1911 carry pistol, more than enough ;)

Mr. Willis, You have a great taste for 1911:cool: I'm thinking of buying a STI ??

While the STI pistols are nice, I would save the extra coin and go with a Les Baer TRS, or a Premiere2 depending on your needs with the gun. go here Gunslingers - Your Source for Quality Firearms George Talia will order you any high end 1911 that you want and give you 12 months interest free layaway and give you an awesome price to boot!
