Not sure how to vote on this poll, because since turning 18 in '89, I always go to the polls, but sometimes I don't vote for any candidates. I do vote for the candidates that I feel represent me at that time, but if no candidate is a candidate for me, I simply put the card in, enter "done" immediately, and pull the card out.To me, that is a valid vote of my conscience as well.

I would say you are a voter. It would be nice to have "none of the above".

I vote and always take the kids. It's important for them to understand their responsibilites and rights from an early age. While in line, I also remind them of those who laid down their lives for those rights, and that many countries do not enjoy the same.

Absolutely not, and I never will. I leave it in the Lords hands. He knows what is right for our country. But, it does make you think what's going on when he let's a muslim in the office. Even still, answer is no.

I vote every election and cannot remember when have I missed one.

This is a timely thread for me since I have moved. There are so many details to take care of that voter registration is one thing I have not even thought about.

EVERY time!!! It's our right but I also feels it's my obligation.

I'd say it's more of a duty, right and privilege, not obligation (in the negative sense). The only obligation we have is to pay taxes (not in the positive sense).

I never miss an election. I didn't believe in moral responsiblities as a kid but voting is definitely that for me as an adult.

I always vote, I think it's important. besides, it honors all those who suffered & died to give us the chance, & it is an act of defiance against those who would conquer us if they could.

I'll be honest.....

I don't vote in local politics as I rarely have the time to educate myself on all the details. If I know what's going on, I do vote in local but I seldom do.

I ALWAYS vote in State and Federal level elections. I make an effort to keep up with the stuff at this level.

It's not right and I really should be more attuned on the local level, but there's just not enough hours in the day for me. I still gripe and complain about my local leadership, but I have no right to do so.

Memphis had an election on December 1. Brian Kelsey won the Dist 31 State Senate seat formerly held by Paul Stanley who resigned after nailing an intern and Mark White, Dist 83 State House seat, won, both republicans and 2nd amendment supporters.

I was only able to vote for Mark White, not in Kelsey's district. Kelsey is young, but has balls to stand up, even after getting criticized by Naife in Restaurant Carry bill fight last year.

Regarding not keeping up with local stuff, look at these two above, these guys have moved up locally, and are now at the state level. Don't underestimate all the local level folks.
