This is not me or anyone I know. However this is one of the reasons I carry. Idiots that have no clue what their doing. I have to say if it had been me when he pulls out the bat I'd have probably shot him. Watch to the very end it's quite funny.

That's crazy. I would have just called the police. Why would you ever stop or turn down a road that away from public in a situation like that.

All that said wonder what kind of camera it was.....

I also saw this a few months ago on another site and there was a lengthy discussion of the issue of it being staged.

If being chased why in the world would someone pull down a dead end road.....How did they know the fools chasing them were NOT also carrying guns?

Also if you will notice the camera man follows his bud around to the back of the truck to film him getting the bat.... with neither of them even looking at the person they were chasing....How did they know that person would not come out shooting?

And at one point during the chase the girl seems to smile at the guys in the truck, she also appears to be trying to keep from laughing when she walks over to take the camera.

One other thing was that after being told to put down the bat....it never gets put down?

After all the discussion no one really knew anything for sure except for this.......

IF it was real and IF the person with the gun was a permit holder or not, even given the proceeding circumstances, that person went from possible victim to an armed robber. Being chased gave him no legal reason to steal the camera.

The video also goes a long way to show how important it is to "Keep our Heads Together" when we are carrying.....things can change quickly and letting emotions get involved can get you in quite a lot of trouble.

Even shooting the person with the bat could very well have landed the person in jail.....the person with the bat was not close enough to have even hit the the person with the gun. Therefore his life was not in immediate danger. IMO

Personally I think it was staged but I dont guess anyone of us will ever know for sure. It does however make for interesting discussion. :D

I thought the Tueller drill was covered in the HCP class.
