Who are the other eight plaintiffs with Rayburn?

I've been poking around searching for the list of the nine restaurant owners that filed the lawsuit and can't seem to find the names and which restaurant(s) they own.

I know Randy Rayburn is the ring leader so I don't give him any of my money.

Just wanted to make sure I'm not helping to support the other eight unknowingly.

Simple... BOYCOTT them all. Every restaurant that serves alcohol.

I don't agree with a boycott on an owner that sides with us on the carry issue.

While "punishing the whole group for the actions of a few", generally worked in school when they were trying to control the group, it doesn't serve a purpose in this matter IMO.

The nine plaintiffs are the ones that started the trouble and they are the ones that need to feel the pain. I understand that others were behind them in the lawsuit and posted against the carry. The nine plus the posters are the those that deserve the boycott, not our supporters.

We didn't have supporters per se. What we had were people that really didn't care one way or another. How many do you think contacted Rayburn et al addressing their displeasure with what they were doing?

Their silence was the same as their tacit approval.

This attitude and the behavior being controlled by it are completely counter productive to the cause, Hex. I am encouraging you to settle down and let rational thought take hold.

Plus the guy just asked a simple question...

Would be nice if someone could ask a simple question and just get a simple answer sometimes.....

As far as the answer.......Sorry, I don't know.

I don't know either. From what I recall of the hearing earlier in the year, those people's identities were not made public by the court. Further I believe that they had requested their identities not be revealed but be kept as a sealed portion of the document, as they feared for their own livelihoods.

Some of them were just restaurant staff, if memory serves. Not all of them were owners or managers.

I am also interested to know who was involved it this case.

I would much rather see the screws tightened on just these plaintiffs that are too spineless to post a sign instead of hiding behind a judge. unfortunately, they have alienated the restaurants that didn't post from my money because I don't want to leave my unattended gun in the car.

The restaurants that supported us should be "up in arms" against this decision because these 9 plaintiffs are costing them money. I have no interest in intetionally boycotting one of our supporters, but that will be the indirect result of this ruling. I am simply not allowed in there with my gun.

I am all for putting the blame where it should be, and I would like to know what restaurants are responsible.

How are you going to boycott a waitress or a server or a busboy at a restaurant? Chances are they all work for Randy Rayburn anyway, so just don't eat at any of the places that he owns.

No tip for them!:D

I guess it could just be one restaurant owner (Rayburn) and some of his employees. I thought it was a collection of restaurant owners.

You could leave a card that says "Dont mess with gun owners". That would be a good tip.

According to the newspaper articles, some of the plaintiffs are other restaurant owners. I recall that Sam from Sam's Sports Bar in Hillsboro Village testified that he didn't know if his place was a restaurant or a bar.

I think that a call to the local Alcoholic Beverage Commission requesting a "Food Audit" of any establishment that has posted is in order. Part of the problem is our "Good Ol' Boy" model of letting any "bar" enjoy the same insurance rates that "restaurants" have. Make the ABC do it's job, we pay them, they need to be working instead of sitting on their hands. An establishment that does not derive 50 +% of their revenue needs to be fined, and/or shut down under current law. Enforce that!

To boycott establishments that did NOT post against our rights is counter productive. Any one of them could have, but those that did not do not deserve to get lumped in with those that did.

What makes you think they'll actually do it? After all, if it's a "good ol' boy" understanding, why would they?

We all need to be vociferous with respect to our Senators and Representatives. Write and call, and let them know that the general population wants the law observed. If we make it an issue, it will get resolved. If we sit on our hands, the status quo will continue.

Seems to me if a complaint is lodged, the ABC HAS to investigate.

I will research this again and report back.

Never been to any of them and never will.

Thanks for the restaurant names.

What, you're not going to try them out so you can write a detailed reveiw? I'm pretty sure the food and service sucks. I know the management does.
