We're glad you were able to come out and that you had fun. The Iron Sighted AK made it tough on the long range steel. Normally the Long range stage is not quite so hard or there is a par time. Otherwise I thought you did very well for your first time out. It was obvious that you have been doing a little shooting.

I will talk to the Match Director and maybe we can get another "New 3 Gunner" out next time ~ Feb 2008.

Next time out, I'll have an EoTech on the AK (and have it properly zeroed )... I'm sure that will allow me to be a bit more competitive in that area. I don't think that I was too handicapped by the pump shotgun, but that was likely due to the way the stages were presented.

I'll certainly be practicing double-tapping and acquiring multiple targets alot more with the pistol... I was a bit too confident beforehand, and I know that I could be less sloppy if I concentrated a bit more.

I was kicking my self for not bringing the camcorder, to get some action sequences of some of you guys rocking the stages, and some of myself to watch and critique...

Thanks again, and, I'd certainly be willing to put an extra $10-$15 or so in a pot to help bring another newbie in for free...
